The record that waited thirty years.
After nearly three decades away from music, Wes returned with enough life behind him to know what the songs needed to say. That road led to The Wes Herndon Band and eleven original tracks recorded where so much Southern music history still lives.
The title track, “Better Late,” releases digitally September 29, 2026, beginning the song-by-song rollout to streaming services. Vinyl reservations include the complete 11-song digital album beginning September 29. The first pressing is spoken for, and second-pressing reservations are open through September 8. If production proceeds, those records are expected to ship in late October or early November.
